    Dear all,

As you may be aware, Georgia Tech and Internet2 are collaborating to
present what will be the third in a series of I2 co-sponsored
workshops targeting campus engineering issues related to Internet2.
The conference will be held Wednesday & Thursday, 5/30 & 5/31, at
    GCATT in Atlanta.

     From the I2 Web site:
"This workshop is aimed at campus network personnel and will center
on implementing advanced network services in the campus environment
and the End-to-End Performance Initiative. Participants will learn
what they can do now to implement advanced services on their campus.
Participants will also discuss current roadblocks and technologies
    needed to implement advanced services"

I was recently contacted by Russ Hobby who is on the planning side of
this for I2. Russ is trying to round out the workshop by adding more
    presentations in two key areas:

    1) Speakers who have applications that need new and/or "advanced"
network services and can demonstrate and/or articulate that need.

    2) Campus "case study" types of speakers, who can talk about the
challenges that they are facing or have faced (and how they
surrmounted them) and also those who are doing interesting work in
advanced network services and want to pass the knowledge gained along
    to other campus network engineers.

If you can assist by presenting in one of these areas or if you know
someone who can, please let either myself or Russ
(rdhobby@mail.internet2.edu ) know as soon as possible.

    Thanks!

    -Mary Fran
