  • Result of Vice Chair Election: David J. Ernst, Vanderbilt University, for the term Jan. 2010 through Dec. 2011
  • Motion 10-02, to adopt draft minutes of Spring 2009 Board meeting. Passed.
  • Motion 10-03, to hold Spring 2010 Board and Committee meetings at Duke University, Durham, NC, March 10-11, 2010. Passed.
  • Resolution 10-04, to elect Corporate Officers. Passed.
  • Resolution 10-06, to elect slate of Committee Chairs. Passed.

  • Motion 10-05, to recommend to the SURA Council of Presidents the admission of the University of Regina to SURA standard membership. Membership application. Passed.

  • Motion 10-12, to change the name of the committee to Coastal and Environmental Research Committee. Passed.
  • Resolution 10-08, to appoint Steering Group members. Passed.

  • Motion 10-13, to authorize SURA management to explore the feasibility of managing the National Society of Black Physicists annual meeting long term and present a plan for doing so to the Executive Committee for approval. Passed.
