MEETING & ACCOMODATIONS

The Spring meeting of the SURA Board of Trustees and the SURA Standing Committees will be held at the R. David Thomas Executive Conference Center located on the Duke University West Campus. SURA has reserved a block of sleeping rooms at the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club, 3001 Cameron Blvd. Durham, North Carolina, through February 24, 2010 at the rate of $129.00. DIRECTIONS TO THE WASHINGTON DUKE INN & GOLF CLUB

From I-40 West (Coming from the East - RDU Airport, Raleigh, Wilmington)
- Follow I-40 West to exit 279B, which is Route 147 North (Durham Freeway)
- Continue on 147 North for approximately 11 miles to exit 16B, which is 15/501 South Bypass
- Follow 15/501 South for approximately 1 mile to exit 107, Duke University West Campus
- At the bottom of the exit turn left onto Cameron Blvd
- Continue on Cameron Blvd to the 3rd traffic light, which is Science Drive
- Turn right at Science Drive into the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club

From I-85 North (Coming from the South - Greensboro, High Point, Charlotte)
- Follow I-85 North to exit 172, which is Route 147 South (Durham Freeway)
- Continue on 147 South for less than 1 mile to exit 16B, which is 15/501 South Bypass
- Follow 15/501 South approximately 1 mile to exit 107, Duke University West Campus
- At the bottom of the exit turn left onto Cameron Blvd
- Continue on Cameron Blvd to the 3rd traffic light, which is Science Drive
- Turn right at Science Drive into the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club

From I-85 South (Coming from the North - Virginia and Points North)
- Follow I-85 South to 15/501 South Bypass (Exit 174A)
- Follow 15/501 South approximately 1½ miles to exit 107, Duke University West Campus
- At the bottom of the exit turn left onto Cameron Blvd
- Continue on Cameron Blvd to the 3rd traffic light, which is Science Drive
- Turn right at Science Drive into the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club

From I-40 East (Coming from the West - Chapel Hill, Winston-Salem, Asheville)
- Follow I-40 East to exit 270, which is 15/501
- Turn left onto 15/501 North (towards Durham)
- Continue on 15/501 North for approximately 2 miles and 15/501 Business will split to the left
- Stay to the right to remain on 15/501 North towards downtown Durham
- Follow 15/501 North for approximately 2 more miles to exit 107, Duke University West Campus
- At the bottom of the exit turn right onto Cameron Blvd
- Continue on Cameron Blvd to the second traffic light, which is Science Drive
- Turn right at Science Drive into the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club

DIRECTIONS TO THE THOMAS CENTER

The Thomas Center is located on the West Campus of Duke University.

From Raleigh-Durham International Airport:
- I-40 West to Exit 279B (NC 147-Durham Expressway)
- Hwy15-501 South (toward Chapel Hill)
- Second exit @ Cameron Blvd. NC Hwy751 (Duke Univ./ West Campus)
- Left @ end of ramp - Left @ 3rd light onto Science Drive
- Left at the 2nd driveway (occurs quickly) into the R. David Thomas Center
- Left up the driveway to the parking lot
- From the parking area, walk down the stairs and a sign will direct you either left to the classroom area and guestrooms, or right to main entrance and dining room

From Atlanta and Southern Points:
- I-85 North to Exit 170. Right at the 1st stop light, NC Hwy 751 (Cameron Blvd.)
- At the 3rd traffic light turn left onto Science Drive
- Turn left at the 2nd driveway (occurs quickly) into the R. David Thomas Executive Conference Center
- Left up the driveway to the parking lot
- From the parking area, walk down the stairs and a sign will direct you either left to the classroom area and guestrooms, or right to main entrance and dining room

From Washington and Northern Points:
- I-95 South. Follow signs through Petersburg, Virginia for I-85 South to Durham
- Take Exit 174A onto 15-501 South, Exit 107 (Duke University West Campus/NC751)
- Left onto NC 751 (Cameron Blvd.)
- At the 3rd traffic light turn left onto Science Drive
- Turn left at the 2nd driveway (occurs quickly) into the R. David Thomas Executive Conference Center
- Left up the driveway to the parking lot
- From the parking area, walk down the stairs and a sign will direct you either left to the classroom area and guestrooms, or right to main entrance and dining room

From Asheville and Eastern Points:
- I-40 East to I-85 North. I-85 North to Exit 172 (Bypass Hwy15-501)
- Merge right onto Bypass 15-501 South
- Hwy 15-501 South to Exit 107 (Duke University West Campus / NC 751)
- Left onto NC Hwy 751 (Cameron Blvd.)
- Left at 3rd traffic light onto Science Drive
- Left at the 2nd driveway (occurs quickly) into the R. David Thomas Executive Conference Center
