Sabbatical Support

The JSA/JLab Sabbatical/Research Leave Support Program is funded by the JSA Initiatives Fund.  JSA awards living expense support to faculty members at SURA member universities who will be on sabbatical or research leave at the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (Jefferson Lab) in Newport News, Virginia.

Each award consists of $1,500 per month for six to twelve months to faculty members who must relocate to the vicinity of the Lab for their sabbatical leave.  Awardees must undertake full-time research at Jefferson Lab for the duration of an award.
