SURA Membership |

|
SURA members share a common interest in exploring and developing ways to advance science and to strengthen their institution through collaborative efforts among universities and other research organizations in the Southeast. SURA seeks as new members institutions that share these interests. Applicants for membership may be nominated by any group of three members or may file a written request for membership. A nominee may be elected to membership by an affirmative vote of two-thirds majority of the entire membership of the Council of Presidents. Membership fees and annual dues are as noted below:
**Payment of the membership fee may be prorated over a five year period. To apply for membership in SURA, the president of the applicant institution should send a letter requesting membership to the President of SURA at the SURA corporate office: SURA
